History
Why We Started
The Calhoun Foundation was established in 2020 by Christopher M. Calhoun Sr.
Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Chris’ passion to serve his community started at a young age and still continues to this day. As a long time, employee of the Chicago Public School system and a law enforcement professional with over twenty plus years of service, his passion to serve and provide the future leaders of tomorrow with guidance is only challenged by his desire to give back to those communities with underrepresented opportunities. Chris’s Philanthropy stretches across several organizations, he has found success at his ability to connect individuals with the resources needed to obtain their highest aspirations. Through this vast network of connections and resources the Calhoun Foundation was born.
